Ton Matton

Ton Matton, born in the Netherlands in 1964, is an artist and urban planner. He runs a large estate structured like a small village, between Hamburg and Berlin, with guest studios, a workshop, plants and animals. The MattonOffice and the Wendorf Academy are based in a former GDR primary school in Wendorf, near Schwerin. Ton Matton participated with his projects in exhibitions including the Royal Institute of British Architects in London, the Architekturgalerie Aedes in Berlin and the GEM in The Hague (NL). Visiting lecturer for performative urbanism at TU München.
