    Pleasure Principle #2: TransACTing knowledge is divided into three parts:
    1) ruangrupa’s experience from 2000 to 2014;
    2) Sonsbeek ’16 (Arnhem NL, 4 June-18 September) for which ruangrupa functions as a curator and develops a ‘counter-colonialism’ process instead of a post- or anti-colonialism, expected from Indonesians in the context of the Netherlands;
    3) Institut ruangrupa (Ir.): an unaccredited, non-degree-granting artistic educational programme with no fixed curriculum. Established by ruangrupa in 2015, after being an art organization that actively shapes Jakarta’s cultural and artistic development, the Institut is an examination of the existing artists' collective mode of operation as both tool and method for knowledge production, considering the urban as their laboratory.
    Through interdisciplinary collaboration among the arts, social sciences, politics, technology and media, ruangrupa produces a diverse array of exhibitions, festivals, art labs, workshops, research projects and publications.
