Relativity Express: painting as a stage for inner self is a practical course dedicated to painting, understood as a visual representation of unconsciousness, sub-reality and inner self. During our activities, participants will focus on developing and improving their painting skills in the context of self-analysis. The main aim of the course is learning how to use painting techniques as a tool for inner exploration, or as a platform for confronting the inner self with the others.

The course will consist of two interlacing sections. In the first one, participants will be encouraged to learn and use the techniques of painted stage design: practical activities will begin with improving or learning sub-realistic painting techniques on small formats; then the group will be encouraged to paint individually on prepared elements of stage design. The outcome of the course will be a stage-set design – a theatrical scene for the inner feelings of the participants.

In the second section, concurrent with the “theatrical” one, participants will be invited for individual consultations, during which their previous work will be discussed.
