Alice Creischer / Andreas Siekmann
Alice Creischer and Andreas Siekmann work both individually and in collaboration. They contribute texts to periodicals such as springerin, Texte zur Kunst and ANYP, and have collaborated in many group projects, including Messe 2ok, Cologne, 1995. They are currently working on the project Principio Potosí, to be shown in the Reina Sofia, Madrid, and Haus der Kulturen der Welt, Berlin, in 2010. In 2004 they curated the exhibition project ExArgentina in the Museum Ludwig, Cologne, and in 2002 the exhibition Die Gewalt ist der Rand aller Dinge in the Generali Foundation, Vienna.
Together with Josef Strau and Amelie von Wulffen, they made the plasticine animation film Die Krumme Pranke, 1997.
In her drawings, collages, paintings and installations, Alice Creischer (b 1960) deals with topics including history, economics and politics, condensing them into poetic tableaux.

In his long-term series of drawings, films and architectural models, Andreas Siekmann (b 1961) devotes his attention to the privatisation of public space and the restructuring of working conditions under the circumstances of globalisation.
