    Jennifer Allen

    Jennifer Allen published her first art review twenty years ago in the Montréal magazine Parachute. In 1995, she moved to Berlin with a DAAD grant, wrote her doctoral thesis and began exploring the city’s emerging art scene, which she has documented in hundreds of publications. She has lectured at many European art academies and written a column for artforum.com (New York), frieze (London) and Mousse Magazine (Milan). Jennifer Allen edited the bilingual magazine frieze d/e (Berlin) and was awarded the ADKV-Art Cologne prize for art criticism in 2009.
