Are you looking for new inspiration in old techniques in film-making? For the first time, Salzburg International Summer Academy will provide a course in analogue film-making. Since the 1990s, independent film laboratories have been organized worldwide, reflecting a need to appropriate the process - standardized by the industry - of developing and editing film. Arne Hector and Minze Tummescheit, working together as cinéma copains, belong to the most important representatives of analogue film-makers in Europe. Most recently, their latest installation Fictures and Futures #1 was on view at the Forum Expanded section of the Berlinale. Apply here for their course, taking place from 4 to 16 August.
