The production of meaning

This year's lecture series, with distinguished international speakers, focus on the subject of The production of meaning. The series will start with a talk by curator Florian Malzacher at Hohensalzburg Fortress on 22 July at 1.30 p.m. "Suddenly," Malzacher says, "there is this persistent call for art that is useful, for direct involvement, for artistic activism, for intervention in the political reality of our societies and economies.
