Pokemon and P0rn0graphy; Pieta and Prada

Normally I write essays, reviews, flash fiction and some poem-like texts. So, I was reading online posts such as “how to write a great blog post” etc. In several sources, number 1 is to find a title that would attract attention. Therefore, I desperately try my best this time. What could be a better title than the one that includes the words p0rn0graphy, Pokemon, Pieta and Prada?

(Wow, the software of the blog just gave an error: "Illegal content found: blacklisted word "p0rn0" ! Seriously? Therefore, I've changed the word and used "zero" instead of 0. Otherwise I'm not allowed to post images.)

On the way to our new Stammtisch, a new type of tourism attracted my attention: Pokemon Tours! On the first day of the Academy, Nora Schultz briefly talked about virtual reality and sculpture in relation to this new game Pokemon. I've asked the co-teachers Noële Ody and Sam Siwe if the conversation has gone further afterwards or not. Well, it hasn't, but in the following days, I'll definitely ask more to Schultz about how she interprets this new phenomenon.

In his incredible and controversial book The Atrocity Exhibition (1970), JG Ballard writes that p0rn0graphy "is the most literary form of fiction" and "a verbal text with the smallest attachment to external reality". From this perspective, is it possible to say that the new p0rn0graphy is Pokemon? Maybe, I speculate a little bit. Please don't despise me; you know, I should get some attention so that more people would read... Being a blogger is like clambering.  I hope you also wonder the (hidden) link between Prada and Pieta.
