An American based in Berlin and Vienna, Kimberly Bradley
has long straddled the worlds of Mainstream culture journalism (BBC
Culture, The New YorkTimes, Monocle, and others) and art
criticism in artpublications ranging from popular to theoretical (art-agenda,
ArtReview, frieze, monopol, etc.). She reviewsexhibitions,
profiles artists, and writes reportages onunderexposed areas and issues of the
art world; she alsowrites artist statements and catalogue essays. Institutional
work includes editing exhibition cataloguesand monographs for museums including
Hamburger Bahnhof, Berlin and Haus der Kunst, Munich. Since 1999, Bradley has
copy-edited a wide array of publicationsat the Akademie Schloss Solitude
residency in Stuttgart;she also copy-edited at the art journal Texte zur
Kunst for several years. Since 2013, she has taught undergraduatecourses on
contemporary art practices and theory at New York University, Berlin.
